Our Story

Why We Got Into Building Decks

We build and repair decks for homeowners throughout the Las Vegas valley, everything from a simple ground-level platform to a raised deck with stairs and a full railing system. Most of us came out of general carpentry or framing work, and decks are where the framing, the finish work and the outdoor living part all come together in one job.

If you are on this page, chances are a board has cupped, a railing post has started to lean, or the whole structure just feels less solid than it used to. Sun and heat do that to decks out here faster than people expect, especially to lumber that was not sealed on all six sides before it went up. We rebuild the framing where it has actually failed instead of just covering it with new boards, so the fix holds instead of hiding the problem for a season.

Why Choose Us

What you get when you hire us

None of this is complicated. It is mostly just doing what we said we would do.

Licensed & Insured

We carry the insurance and licensing this trade requires, and we will show you the certificate before we start. If a subcontractor ever touches your project, they are covered too.

Permits Handled

Decks over 30 inches off grade need a permit and inspection in most of the valley, and we handle that paperwork. We will not talk you into skipping it to save time, because an uninspected deck can come back to bite you at resale.

Written Quotes

We measure the site and give you a number in writing, broken down by material and labor. No verbal estimate that changes once the lumber is ordered.

Our Own Crew

The people framing your deck are the same people who show up to trim it out and stain it. That keeps the work consistent and means nobody is pointing fingers if something does not line up.

Material Options

We will walk you through pressure-treated pine, cedar and composite decking and tell you honestly what holds up in this climate. Composite costs more up front but does not need restaining every year or two like wood does out here.

Smart Scheduling

We try to frame and pour footings in the cooler months when concrete cures better and crews are not fighting 115-degree afternoons. If you want a deck ready for a specific event, tell us early and we will build the schedule around it.

Common Questions

Things people ask us

Questions about who is doing the work and how we operate.

How long have you been building decks?
Alpha Deck Solutions focuses specifically on deck construction, repair, and refinishing rather than general home remodeling. That focus means the crew spends its time on footings, framing, decking, and railings rather than splitting attention across kitchens, roofs, and everything else.
Do you use your own crew or subcontractors?
Alpha Deck Solutions uses its own crew for framing, decking, and railing installation on most projects. Using one crew throughout a project keeps the person who built the frame accountable for how the finished deck feels underfoot.
Can I see examples of decks you've built before?
Photos of completed deck projects, including framing shots taken before the decking goes down, are available on request. Framing photos matter because they show footing depth, joist spacing, and flashing details that get covered up once the deck is finished.
Why choose a dedicated deck builder instead of a general contractor?
A dedicated deck builder deals with deck-specific code requirements, like railing height and baluster spacing, on a daily basis rather than occasionally. That familiarity tends to show up in fewer inspection callbacks and fewer surprises once the frame is exposed.
Where is Alpha Deck Solutions based?
Alpha Deck Solutions is based in Las Vegas, NV and works throughout the surrounding valley, including Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Boulder City. Being local means faster response for warranty callbacks or repair requests after the initial build.
How far out are you booking new projects?
Availability shifts with the season, since spring and fall are the busiest months for deck construction in the Las Vegas area. Calling for a current estimate on scheduling is more accurate than any general timeframe posted on a website.
Do you clean up the site after the job is done?
Job site cleanup includes hauling off old decking, cut-off lumber, and packaging material once construction wraps up. A finished deck project should not leave a homeowner with a pile of scrap wood to deal with.
What happens if something gets damaged on my property during the work?
Licensed and insured deck contractors carry liability coverage for damage that happens during construction, such as an irrigation line cut while digging a footing. Asking to see proof of insurance before work starts, not after something goes wrong, is worth doing.
Will you finish a deck that another contractor started or abandoned?
Taking over a partially built deck is possible, but it starts with an inspection of the existing framing to check whether it was built to code and can be built on safely. Sometimes it is cheaper to finish what is there, and sometimes the existing frame has to come out first.
How can I tell if my deck was built correctly?
A properly built deck has a ledger board bolted, not just nailed, to the house with flashing above it, footings below the frost or bearing depth for the soil, and joists spaced correctly for the decking material on top. A deck contractor or inspector can check these points on an existing deck even if it was not built by them.
